GET OVER YOUR FIXATION WITH LIBERALS

by Jane Gaffin

WHITEHORSE, Yukonslavia, Kanuckistan -- How would you like to be motoring peacefully along the Trans Canada Highway and be intercepted by ruthless police officers? You are dragged from the vehicle, shackled and thrown into the back of the cruiser like a common criminal.

The government-paid thugs don't have a search warrant but heard you might be transporting guns. They refuse your offer to produce paperwork for the firearms and the vehicle you are driving to a new home in Alberta.

Your wife and 10-year-old daughter are stripped searched on the side of the busy highway. Their blouses are up over their heads. The legalized child molesters pat, paw, pinch and grope.

One of these legal outlaws drives your four-member family in your vehicle to the RCMP detachment where you are escorted from the cruiser to a jail cell. The police start writing out the charges and they still haven't asked to see "your papers, please".

It is of little consolation to hear the judge dismiss the case on grounds your constitutional rights were violated. Who authorized these thugs to maul your wife and little girl? And why? Then the lead thug receives a commendation for his good work!

This scenario is brought to you by the Libe ral government of Kanuckistan and its Firearms Act of 1995.

How would you like to be alone preparing for Christmas while your husband is away shopping when four spun-out-of-control bullies bust into your home and throw you out into the dark and the cold?

This hysterical raid was so wonky the robber barons had to judge-shop outside their district to get a search warrant signed. They trash your immaculate abode and break into the secured gun vault.

Belongings not chained down are easy pickings; bolt cutters have to be used on anchored items. They seize guns, bows, fishing gear, wall hangings, cash, search light, teaching tools and paperwork--some of which you will never see again.

The loot does not include the one mystery gun that sparked the home invasion due to an RCMP officer and a firearms officer crossing their wires over paperwork.

A feeble charge of improper storage is laid but the police are negligent about providing details as to what, where, when and why.

The Crown stays the procedures; your husband is notified not to appear in court on the day fixed for trial. Now it's the judge and administration who have their wires crossed. The judge signs a bench warrant for the police to come arrest your husband for contempt of court.

This scenario is brought to you by the Liberal government of Kanuckistan and its Firearms Act of 1995.

How would you like to be surprised one morning by a home invasion because 18 months before you had sounded off to a bunch of brattish and obnoxious bureaucrats? You took exception to the fisheries officers, who do not have a gun culture, packing peashooters in town and on the creeks to intimidate fishermen and mining people.

The poor babies whimper to the police. A Group of Four only bother you because you are a firearms owners; otherwise the police report would have been shredded.

You are charged with three firearms storage infractions as a result of the wholesale fishing expedition into the privacy of your home.

The Liberal government had no compunctions about having to spend 30 months and over $2.7 million to push this silliness into the Supreme Court of Canada to finally obtain a contrived conviction against you for a law that doesn't exist.

This scenario is brought to you by the Liberal government of Kanuckistan and its Firearms Act of 1995.

The Liberal government ruling itself capable of exercising police-state powers and limiting personal freedoms and civil rights under the guise of public safety and public health is painted in shades of Naziism.

Adolf Hitler was an elected politician who became a dictator. He transformed a democratic country into a nation ruled by a religious cult which clandestinely legalized atrocious crimes the state committed against its people.

Hitler convinced his stable of legalized murderers that Jews were vermin and a hazard to publish health. Who could argue against protecting public health?

Former Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien was an elected politician who became a dictator. He convinced his elected caucus and hand-picked ministerial cabinet that firearms owners are a hazard to public safety. Who could argue against such an honorable agenda?

Liberty degenerated into licence and governmental authority is swiftly degenerating into tyranny.

The Liberal government gave firearms officers discretionary power to deny licences to applicants. The national police force and special enforcement teams were unleashed on hundreds of private homes. Personal property was seized without compensation. The seized property is often sold at government auctions, destroyed or divided among the privileged.

The Nazis enacted the infamous Nuremberg Laws, thus stripping Jews of their property rights and basic civil rights. They were orderd to surrender gold and other valuables to government-paid thugs without compensation.

The billions of dollars worth of business assets and personal belongings confiscated were transferred to privileged German citizens or to the state or sent to auction. Jews definitely could not own guns.

Later, bombed-out Nuremberg was selected as the site to hear the war trials. Barbaric Nazi secret service officers and phsyicians were sentenced to dangle from hemp for shooting, gassing, torturing, conducting medical experiments on and euthanizing prisoners.

In following the Nazi doctrine, the Liberal government wants Canadians disarmed so the state can force defenseless civilians to bow down as obedient slaves under the collective thumb, which historically ends up with tyrannical masters at the helm.

Under a Gunstapo regime, the Gestapo knew exactly who owned the firearms and where they were located. Firearms officers revoked licences or refused to renew the annual ownership permits.

The process gave the Nazis a stranglehold over German citizenry like the Liberals have over Canadians with the odious Firearms Act that flows from Bill C-68. This ill-conceived law violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms no less than 28 times because the Liberals closed parliamentary debate prematurely.

The only way democracy can survive is for those governed to be provided with good government that is willing to create good laws through nothing less than open and exhaustive parliamentary debate.

Those governed must hold a healthy respect and understanding for law and must be constantly vigilant that laws do not degenerate into a subject reserved for career-motivated government lawyers and judges in a courtroom.

A good government does not sneak around tinkering with statutory laws in isolation like the Liberals have done for nearly 30 years.

It may seem expedient for ministers to illegally pass thousands of laws each year with orders in council. But OICs were designed as a housekeeping tool to prevent having to return legislation to Parliament to dot an "i".

It may seem harmless for the backroom boards to secretly write regulations and gazette them. The Nazi government also published its laws and regulations in an official journal called The Reichsgesetzblatt, roughly equivalent to the volumes of gazettes gathering dust on Canadian library shelves.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Neither regime wanted citizens pouting they didn't know about certain decrees and laws brought forth outside Reichstag or Parliament.

Hitler had no compunctions about suspending sections of the constitution any more than the Liberals have compunctions about passing statutes contrary to the Canadian constitution.

The constitution is supposed to be the supreme act that trumps lesser acts. But justices appointed to the bench by the prime minister are duty-bound to uphold his political policies for the state good.

With decrees, Hitler eliminated the most basic of rights: freedom of the individual, speech, press, assembly, association and the right to privacy, most of which was accomplished in Bill C-68.

The German requirements governing fairness and due process of the law were eliminated as was done with Bill C-68. The necessary warrants for search and seizure of private property were discontinued with new German laws as was essentially done with the Liberals' gun law.

The Reichstag passed acts giving Hitler's hand-picked cabinet ministers the rights to make valid laws without going through the legislature. With this undemocratic process, the Nazi Party became the source of law through decree. It was no different than the Liberals' present abuse of orders in council.

The prime minister alone controls the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of government. So did Hitler. German judges upheld the laws, regardless of how unreasonable, and imposed excessive penalties to promote the state's interests.

Nazi officials had unfettered discretionary power to read the law liberally and carry out their cold, calculated mass murders to "promote public good"; mindless party faithfuls were armed and stuck in uniforms to enforce the laws without compromise.

Kinda reminds one of fisheries, environmental, wildlife and by-law officers, doesn't it?

Canadian enforcement officers and the courts go about their duties with the same liberal discretions as did the Nazis. And the bureaucrats feel righteous "just following orders" for a paycheque.

But their lax attitude is reminiscent of Adolph Eichmann, on of Hitler's most feared and fanatical SS henchmen. The scariest part is all Hitler's psychopathic pals tested mentally and emotionally normal!

When tracked down and tried in Israel, it's no wonder Eichmann wanted to distance himself from the Nazi genocide. His office was the headquarter to implement the final solution to massacre 11 million Jews and other inferiors.

His only defense was to explain he was an insignificant bureaucrat on the lowest rung who had to obey. "I was just following orders", proclaimed Eichmann, who was excuted by an Israeli firing squad in 1962.

Now, Canadians have one last kick at the can. The new Conservative Party of Canada promises when it forms the next government to at least decriminalize the Firearms Act and at most repeal it.

To not repeal the Firearms Act would be far more dangerous than Chretien not abolishing the GST as promised. The tax just takes your money; the firearms registry wasted your $3 billion and took your freedoms, too, while promising to put you behind bars (you don't have to be a gun owner) and threatening to dissolve a semi-democratic nation into tyranny like the Nazis managed to do with Germany 70 years ago.

Europeans existed in abject fear for 11 years before the Americans and Canadians liberated them from Naziism. Who's going to liberate Canadians? Nobody. You're on our own and it's time to give up childish fixations with the Liberals.

It's either re-vote or revolt.
